History
APEK came into existence in June, 2004, as a result of a proposal set forth by the Embassy of Pakistan in Kuwait.
Engr. Ubed ur Rehman Arain, responded to the proposal by sending a confirmation to the Embassy to initiate a non-profit, non- political professional association that will work in the interest of Pakistani Engineers residing in Kuwait, rendering their services in various engineering and technical sectors, of the country.
A General Body Meeting was called upon by the Embassy of Pakistan, to which all the Pakistani Engineers residing in Kuwait were invited through notifications and advertisement in the newspapers. Hence, first ever elections of the association were held and the Executive Committee was formed, by the show of hands of the voters, who themselves were from the Engineering fraternity.
The organization charter was discussed and developed with the common consensus and approval of the General Body.
